[job list] Re: [Summer] [danpleck@xxxxxxxxx: Fwd: Interested in participating in study]

I did this yesterday. Took me 30 minutes, but it wasn't nearly as interesting as thought it would be. I was kind of hoping for a chance to bash the media, but the outcome of the study is a foregone conclusion.

Anyway, easy $15.

Thanks for your email about our television study. It is very
easy to participate. The first thing you need to do is pick a
time to come into our research lab (to watch the television
and fill out a survey). It will take about 45 minutes from
start to finish. Once you are finished, we will pay you $15.

We currently have sessions scheduled for the following dates
and times:

Date Start time (i.e., when you would come
into the lab)

June 13th 4 pm
                       5 pm
                       6 pm
                       7 pm

June 14th 4 pm
                       5 pm
                       6 pm
                       7 pm

June 15th 4 pm
                       5 pm
                       6 pm
                       7 pm

June 16th 4 pm
                       5 pm
                       6 pm
                       7 pm

Pick one of the times above (whatever works for you) and then
email me back with your choice. If the slot is still open
(most are right now), then you are done. If the slot is full,
I will email you back and let you pick another time.

Once you've reserved a time slot, all you need to do is show
up at 310 Lincoln Hall ten minutes prior to your session (and
we'll do the rest). If you need help finding 310 Lincoln Hall
feel free to ask me or find directions on the University of
Illinois website (www.uiuc.edu). If street directions are
helpful, Lincoln Hall is located at 702 S. Wright street
(just North and East of the Main Library on Campus).

Thanks for your interest and email! We appreciate it!

PS. Please note that you must be between the ages of 18-64 to
participate in this study. In addition, non-native English
speakers are invited to participate provided they have a
strong mastery of the English language (as this is important
to the study). Questions about either of these restrictions
are encouraged.
