GES is an executive search firm based in Denver.  Our Loop office
focuses on position in the Chicago area.  All fees are paid by the
client and are never paid by the candidates.  

Currently we have a major law firm, based in the loop that is hiring an
entry level IT candidate for their busy litigation department.  The
client is looking for an IT graduate with a great GPA.  Excellent
communication skills and a few IT internships.  

Strong comfort level with:
Databases / Reporting / Data Analysis
- Perform data analysis on large datasets
- Prepare client deliverables
- Provide input to improve client I.T. controls 
- Develop Microsoft Access applications
- Load client data into backend databases

This position will pay around $20/hr

The Department of Finance in the College of Business is seeking
applications for a Graduate
Assistantship position as Technical Consultant of the Market Information
Lab (MIL) in the new
Business Instructional Facility. The MIL consists of 2 lab spaces which
house 54 networked
computer terminals. All workstations are equipped with state-of-the-art
financial information
systems and software packages.

General duties for this position include the following:
â?¢ Maintenance and administration of the computer lab, computer
equipment including the
lab workstations and audio-visual equipment.
â?¢ Providing technical support related to workstation, network, and
hardware issues.
â?¢ Maintenance and improvement of the MIL Website
â?¢ Screening and referring problems requiring specialized expertise to
professional College of Business technical support staff.
â?¢ Diagnose and solve technical issues together with software
vendorsâ?? technical support.
Applicants should possess the job requirements listed:
â?¢ Graduate student in good academic standing in Computer Science or
related field.
â?¢ Ability to interact in a pleasant and effective manner with computer
users of various skill
â?¢ Ability to work well with others
â?¢ Ability to analyze, isolate, and solve problems and the ability to
learn new skills needed
to solve those issues
â?¢ Experience in workstation / server support is highly desirable.
â?¢ Experience with Active Directory Management is helpful
â?¢ Familiarity with Windows XP, Windows 7, and standard software
