Northrop Grumman offers a challenging Software Engineering Rotational
Program for recent graduates with a BS and/or MS in Computer Science,
Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical/Computer
The Professional Development Program offers the opportunity to
experience several different job assignments before making a commitment
to remain in a particular position. Software Engineering rotations
involve full life-cycle product development on architectures ranging
from radio frequency (RF), Infrared (IR) imaging, and PCs to custom
designed real-time embedded systems. Applications include real-time
control, target class/detect/tracking, data acquisition and analysis,
signal processing, intelligence data cross correlation, image
processing, artificial intelligence, database management and GUI
development. Software engineering technologies utilized include Object
Based Design, Object Oriented Design/Programming, SOA Architectures,
ADA, C/C++, C# .NET, Java, Embedded Real-time Development, Web
Technologies, and the Unix, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, and TI code
Basic Qualifications: 
â?¢ Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related discipline 
â?¢ Electrical and Computer Engineering graduates must have a solid
background and interest in software development. 
â?¢ Candidates, regardless of age, must be new graduate, entry-level

We are seeking a programmer to develop Python code to support an
NSF-sponsored research project.  The code will be used to analyze remote
sensing data of the Earth\'s upper atmosphere and will potentially be
used by research groups around the world.  Experience in Python,
specifically SciPy and NumPy, is needed.  Familiarity with MATLAB and
Fortran is desired.  Hours are flexible and compensation will be $10/hr.

undergraduate students with two year IT degrees from diverse
backgrounds; the University Library is recruiting diverse candidates for
a summer paid internship in software development. Students will
co-design library software services in a collaborative team-based
research and development group based in the Undergraduate Library.


Participate in a collaborative software development team for library
services that aid information discovery.


Must be a University of Illinois undergraduate student from a diverse
background with two-year IT degree; or, enrolled in the Informatics

Programming experience with object oriented languages (preferably Java),
familiarity with RESTful web services for API development.


40 hours a week for 8 weeks @ $12.25
