work forÂBud Lab,Âa state of the art data analytics center, at the
University of Illinois Research Park.

Currently, we have intern position openings for summer 2014. Summer
initiatives include sales algorithms, assortment optimization and shelf
optimization. We are looking for students from Computer Science
Department who are willing to share the our dream: to be the best beer
company in a better world!

IT skills - REQUIRED:
-       Practical database management (SQL, open source databases like
MongoDB, ManetDB, NoSQL) â able to store, manage & manipulate datasets
-       Database connectivity â connect, load, export data from
different databases / file formats / access structures
-       API / JSON knowledge to build integrator between our environment
and a (set of) public / private APIs to request data

Skills â Preferred:
-       Statistics related: Python or R
-       General: strong in building programs in Java, C++ or other
-       Interest in statistics and working on a multi-functional and
multi discipline project
-       German speaker

Position Summary

The Computer Vision Scientist will be responsible guiding the direction
of our computer vision pipeline for current and future applications of
MedEye.  We are in a tight applied loop with a live hospital so you will
have a direct impact on the quality of the product and user experience.


We are looking for someone who loves building technology that makes a
difference. Youâll be applying your expertise in computer vision to
improve patient care and take MedEye to the next level.  Challenges
we're working on run the gamut from acquisition, segmentation,
classification, speed and validation.
