Seeking software engineering intern for early-stage internet of things
startup. We expect to iterate quickly to find product market fit.
Success in this role will be largely determined by intern's ability to
quickly produce quality software.

This individual will work with the founders on our server (python django
on app engine), android client, and embedded device (unix and python).
We don't care if you have worked with our specific tech stack, just that
you have experience writing software.

We're looking for engineers who are passionate and care about the
quality of their code. The Mobile Developer will have full project
lifecycle responsibility. Preferred skills include adaptive design, a
sense of User Experience (UX) mobile design patterns, and visual design
with an eye for simple-to-use interfaces, as well as a working knowledge
of testing from unit to functional in a mobile context.


Our Technology Stack: Node JS, F7 Framework, JSON, REST, AJAX, HTML5,
CSS3, GitHub and Amazon EC2.

Desired Skills and Experience

    Proven track record in developing mobile applications

    Understanding of common design patterns and architectures.

    Experience in the aspects of mobile development lifecycle. Examples
include: application development (application structure, device and
operating system API’s, debugging, performance, security) and
deployment.

    Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: Ajax, REST,
JSON,Node JS and F7 framework.

    Good understanding of MongoDB (or any other NoSQL DB) configuration
and capacity planning.

    Proficient with using Github version control and Amazon EC2 setup.
    Ability to present technical ideas and high-level concepts and
solutions to team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
